These Terms and Conditions outline the regulations for the provision of Our Services, which involve carrying out Payment Transactions requested by you through the PayShop App. By using the PayShop App, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions when instructing us to provide Our Services, encompassing all features, content, and services available through the app. Our commitment to fulfilling these Terms and Conditions is subject to our approval of you as a user (our client), a decision made at our discretion.
We retain the right to refuse providing Our Services to you without explanation. You are required to promptly supply any information or documentation we may need to comply with legal obligations related to Our Services, such as anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing regulations. By using the app, you consent to us reaching out to you for these purposes. According to these Terms and Conditions, you will only have access to a Money Remittance service, and no payment account will be established for you.
The following definitions apply to the terms used in these Terms and Conditions:
Every Payment Transaction we carry out on your behalf constitutes an individual agreement that includes the currently applicable Terms and Conditions at the time of initiating your Payment Transaction. It is your responsibility to inform the recipient of the Payment Transaction accordingly. Upon your specific request, we will furnish you with a complimentary copy of the relevant Terms and Conditions pertaining to your completed Payment Transaction. This can be done either through email or by making them available in your account on the PayShop App.
Please be aware that the Terms and Conditions may be revised periodically to comply with changes in the law, regulatory requirements, or market conditions. Therefore, if you plan to initiate multiple Payment Transactions using our Services over time, please note that the Terms and Conditions may have changed since your last transaction. It is important to review the Terms and Conditions before initiating any additional Payment Transactions. Once you have initiated your first Payment Transaction, you will be able to access the updated Terms and Conditions on the PayShop App. These updates do not relieve you of your responsibility to read and confirm the applicable Terms and Conditions before each new Payment Transaction. The updated Terms and Conditions will be made available to you on the PayShop App. Any changes we make to the Terms and Conditions will generally apply to Payment Orders entered into after the effective date of the revised Terms and Conditions. However, they may also apply to Payment Orders entered into before that date if required by law or regulatory requirements. In any case, the updated version of the Terms and Conditions will replace the previous version. Please note that we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of the PayShop App or its content. We may temporarily suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to all or part of the app for business or operational reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to provide you with advance notice of any scheduled suspension or withdrawal, such as by posting a message on the PayShop App or sending an email to the last provided email address.
In order to utilize the PayShop App, it is necessary for you to have a valid user account. To establish a user account, you can submit an application through the app by providing your personal information, creating a password, and accepting the Terms and Conditions. If your application is accepted, we will create and activate your user account, allowing you to access Our Services within the limitations outlined in the Terms and Conditions. All the information you provide will be securely stored in your user account by us or our authorized partners. It is important to note that having a user account does not obligate you to use Our Services or perform any specific actions or checks. You have the right to delete your user account at any time. Your user account is designed solely for your convenience in using Our Services and enables us to match your previous data with your new use of Our Services. To access Our Services through the PayShop App, you must correctly enter your username and password (referred to as your "User ID") and authenticate your identity with a one-time-password (OTP) when prompted. Your User ID is strictly confidential, personal, and non-transferable. It is your responsibility to ensure the security and confidentiality of your User ID and any other security features associated with your access to the PayShop App, including any Payment Order details. NEVER SHARE your User ID or any other sensitive information with anyone else.
We will not open a payment account for you. To use Our Services with your user account, you must attach and link your Bank Card issued by a Card Issuer. When initiating a Payment Transaction, you will need to deduct funds from the Bank Card, which we will then remit to the Recipient. Deducting funds may require additional steps set by the Card Issuer, and it is your responsibility to follow these requirements. If you report unauthorized use of your User ID or Ria Money Transfer App, we will take necessary actions to prevent further use of your user account. We will notify you of these actions and reasons, unless legally restricted. We are not liable for any losses due to your failure to comply with Terms and Conditions. Contact the Bank Issuer for maximum safety regarding your Bank Card linked to your user account. You are responsible for damages resulting from unauthorized use of your User ID, as per laws and regulations. We have the right to deactivate your User ID at our discretion, for any reason, including non-compliance with Terms and Conditions.
If you request the execution of a Payment Order for a Payment Transaction in a currency other than euro (EUR), we will verify if we can accommodate the requested currency. If so, we will apply a retail exchange rate along with any service charge. Prior to authorizing the Payment Order, we will inform you of this retail exchange rate. The payout currency for such Payment Transaction is obtained by us at a fluctuating wholesale rate. The variance between the retail exchange rate applied to the Payment Transaction and the wholesale exchange rate at which we acquired the payout currency will be retained by us and/or the paying agent as revenue, in addition to any service charges. You will always be presented with the relevant exchange rate on the Ria Money Transfer App screen before confirming the Payment Order. This allows you to halt the Payment Order if the exchange rate is unsatisfactory. For more details regarding the price calculator (which outlines available currencies and countries, as well as exchange rates), payout locations, customer fees, and exchange rates, please refer to the FAQ section on the Ria Money Transfer App.

It is important to understand that we are not responsible for the content, policies, goods, or services of any other individuals or websites that are linked to or accessible via the Ria Money Transfer App. The presence of any link to another mobile application or website does not imply our endorsement or association with that application, website, or the individuals operating them. In order to use Our Services, you must agree to the Terms and Conditions and log into the Ria Money Transfer App. Within the app, you will need to provide us with your Payment Orders. Each Payment Order must contain the necessary information for us to execute it, as determined by us.
This includes the recipient's name and details, the destination country of the payment, the amount and currency of the transaction, and the IBAN code or bank account code if applicable. If the funds are to be received at a specific location, the address of the paying agent must also be provided. Once you have entered the required information, you will need to authenticate the Payment Order using the required methods from your card issuer and us. We only accept Payment Orders submitted through the PayShop. By submitting a Payment Order, you are giving us your consent to proceed with and authorize the transaction. Payment for the execution of your Payment Transaction and the customer fee can be made using a Bank Card. You must authorize your card issuer to transfer the necessary funds to us and ensure that your payment method has sufficient funds or credit available in a timely manner for us to proceed with the transaction.
We disclose your personal information within the payshop group and to external third parties (the categories of which are outlined in this Policy). In other cases, we will ensure that at least one of the lawful safeguards is in place, which may involve using specific contracts approved by the UK Government and/or European Commission to provide your personal data with the same level of protection it would have in Europe.
We will retain your personal data only for the necessary duration to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, such as meeting legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. The appropriate retention period for personal data is determined based on various factors, including the laws and regulations applicable to your country of residence, the type and sensitivity of the data, the potential risks associated with unauthorized use or disclosure, and whether the purposes of processing the data can be achieved through alternative means. As a regulated financial institution, we are mandated to retain certain personal and transactional data even after your account is closed. By using our Services, you explicitly consent to us retaining your personal data, including information related to your transactions and identity verification, for a minimum of 7 years after the termination of your legal relationship with us.
We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any given time. In the event of any changes, we will inform you by publishing an updated version on our Site and App. We recommend reviewing this Policy each time you engage in a Transaction, as it may have been revised since your initial registration for our Services or your last Transaction. If you disagree with any part of this Policy or any modifications made, you have the option to terminate your Agreement with us and deactivate your Profile. Please contact us via email at data@payshop.clic or through other means of communication.
